Designers want to convey that "the acquisition and precipitation of knowledge is as important as urban development". Time can turn stone into gold (jade). The design draws on the local cultural elements of Pingzhou jade and designs the whole building as a jade wrapped in stone. Various individual stroke elements are engraved on the front wall of the building, implying reading and knowledge inheritance. The shape of "book and man" (three Chinese characters) superimposed together has become the theme of space.
