The call for entries of GIDA 2020 has been officially closed at 12:00 on July 1, 2020. Until the end of the call for entries, the total entries has reached 8,393 from 58 countries and regions around the world, and 854 of the total entries came from outside China. 

"How amazing the outcome of GIDA submissions was!" Shirley Feng, the Executive President of XIDI (Xiongan Future Industrial Design Institute) praised. David Kusuma, the jury Chairman of GIDA 2020, also stated "that's really great".

Started from January 15 and lasting until July 1, The call for entries of GIDA 2020 has remained 168 days! During the period, we went through one of the most serious challenges for human-beings---coronavirus pandamic. The situation for human-beings is tough but we can see the hope, because people still care about the Future! 

The GIDA -Goldreed Industrial Design Award - aims at "Discover the Future Design, Inspire the Future Living and Empowering the Future Cities"!

The launching meeting of GIDA Preliminary Evaluaiton was held on July 5, and the first round evaluaiton will be taken from July 6 to 12. The results will be announced from July 14 to 27 on the official website. 

About the Evaluation Stages of GIDA

Three stages including the Preliminary Evaluation, the Second Evaluation and the Final Evaluation constitute the process of GIDA evaluation.

l  Preliminary Evaluation (July 6-12, 2020)

1)      Online evaluation through the evaluation system of GIDA;

2)      The pictures, videos and introduction of entries submitted by the participants will be evaluated by jury;

4)    50 experts from China will score the entries.

l  Second Evaluation (August 15-16, 2020)

1)      On-site evaluation in Shijiazhuang city, Hebei Province, China;

2)      The real objects or models of entries will be delivered to the evaluation site in China;

3)      24 jury members with 16 Chinese experts and 8 experts from outside China will evaluate the selected entries;

l  Final Evaluation (September 15-16, 2020)

1)    Top entries entered the Final Evaluation will have a chance to win the awards of Best of the Best (1), Gold Awards (5), Future Star Awards (2), Good Design Awards (over 25).

2)      Every participant will be required to take a project defense;

3)      9 jury members with 4 Chinese experts and 5 from outside China will evaluate the projects.
